The DNP project is a scholarly project that students complete with the goal of translating evidence into practice. All DNP projects contain planning, implementation, and evaluation components. Work on the DNP project begins immediately after starting the doctoral program and continues throughout its entirety.
The DNP project courses synthesize evidence, theories, and scientific principles for the DNP student to create a DNP project plan.

Additionally, DNP practicum hours provide students the opportunity to build on concepts and skills derived from DNP courses and focuses on developing advanced skills in integration and synthesis of practice and knowledge.
