Center for Community Engaged Learning

The mission of the Center for Community Engaged Learning (CCEL) is to engage students, faculty and staff members in direct service, civic engagement and community research to promote civic participation and enhance the educational process. The symposium is an opportunity for students to showcase their community engagement efforts and achievements.

Honors Program

Students in the Honors Program have a lot to show off, and the Research and Engagement Symposium provides the perfect forum. Students showcase their learning, highlight their research, share ideas and celebrate their accomplishments.

Interdisciplinary Studies

The Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies Program fosters connections across disciplines, departments, and colleges. We invite students who have done interdisciplinary projects (including, but not limited to BIS Capstones) to showcase their work.

Undergraduate Research

The Office of Undergraduate Research supports all forms of undergraduate research, scholarly and creative activities. Undergraduate research is an inquiry, investigation or creative work conducted by a mentored undergraduate that makes a significant, original, intellectual or artistic contribution to the discipline.
