Department of Emergency Healthcare

Scholarships and Tuition Waivers

Steps to applying for financial assistance

The Department of Emergency Healthcare has multiple options for financial assistance for EMS students, through grants, loans, scholarships, and tuition waivers. Any student wanting to apply for any of these opportunities must follow these steps:

Step One:  Regardless of the source, anyone recieving financial assistance is required to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Specialized Scholarship Application, both of which can be found on the university's Financial Aid webpage. FAFSA is first used to determine if the student qualifies for federal grants or loans.

Step Two:  Any students who wish to also be considered for scholarships or tuition waivers need to fill out the Emergency Healthcare department scholarship application found here. You can learn more about each of our scholarships and tuition waivers by clicking on the links below. Only students who have completed both steps will be considered for departmental scholarships and waivers. Please submit your Emergency Healthcare Department Scholarship Application to the department chair at WilliamRobertson@Weber.edu

* Meeting the criteria for scholarships or tuition waivers does not guarantee awarding of such. Multiple variables are considered for determination of qualifications, such as the awarding of grants, waivers, and scholarships from other sources.
