Bachelor of Science in Emergency Healthcare

Information About the Program

The Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Healthcare Sciences builds on your previous education in EMS by adding upper division emergency medicine courses, healthcare courses, and general education courses. A strong core of Health Administration Services (HAS) courses will be utilized to provide a solid healthcare background. The degree in Emergency Healthcare Sciences was designed to be broad enough to enhance the careers of those working in education, QA/QI, supervision & management, human resources, air medical services, public health, the fire service, and mobile integrated healthcare. In response to the needs of working fire and EMS professionals, the BS in EHS can be completed entirely online. And, because the degree is offered online, there are no out-of-state tuition hikes for those living outside of Utah.
