Weber State University’s Department of Dental Hygiene is the flagship dental hygiene program in Utah with roots stretching back to 1975. We are currently celebrating 50 years of providing outstanding clinical and classroom educational experiences to students.
Our Dental Hygiene Program offers an associate degree required for licensure in Utah, as well as a pathway to a bachelor's degree.
Experienced and licensed professional faculty are committed to offering high-impact educational and clinical experiences that prepare students to become skilled, compassionate, and prepared professionals for the workforce.
We blend coursework and immersive clinical experiences at multiple clinical sites, including our campus-based clinic, to prepare students with the technical, communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills needed to thrive in today's dynamic health care environment.
