By opting into the Weber State University Counseling and Psychological Services Center (CPSC) text notification service, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Service Description: CPSC primarily uses text notifications to send appointment reminders, scheduling updates, and essential center announcements.
- Clinical Disclaimer (Not for Crisis Use): This text service is automated and used strictly for administrative purposes. It is not monitored 24/7 and must never be used for clinical support, crisis intervention, or emergencies. Do not reply to text messages to seek clinical assistance. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or crisis, please call or text the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988, call 911, or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
- Opting Out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to any text message received from us. If you text STOP, you will receive a final confirmation message and will no longer receive text notifications from our center.
- Service Issues: If you experience issues or need assistance with this service, reply HELP to any message or contact the CPSC main desk directly at 801-626-6406.
- Fees and Frequency: Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless provider plan. Message frequency varies and is directly tied to your scheduled appointments and active center status.
