The Signpost Wins General Excellence

The Signpost won the top award for General Excellence from the Utah Press Association in 2018 while two students won first-place awards for column writing and sports photography in the 2018 regional competition sponsored by the Society of Professional Journalists.

New Associate's in Workplace Communication

A new associate's degree in Workplace Communication & Writing prepares students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a variety of workplaces. The two-year degree completes Gen Ed requirements and can be applied toward the bachelor's degree.

Morse named Utah PR Student of the Year

Nina Morse was named the 2017 Utah PR Student of the Year in the competition sponsored by the Utah Public Relations Society Association. Morse becomes the seventh consecutive Weber State student to bring home this honor.

Congrats to Speech Showcase Finalists

Congratulations to the Top 5 finalists: Rieley Frederick, John Keeffer, Liberty Lockett, Ariana Presher and Jayna Scadden. They presented their speeches to a packed house at the annual Speech Showcase event on April 19. Watch for another Showcase in Fall Semester.
