Brick City Round Robin

Congratulations to Zachary Baker and Zachary Thiede for their invitation to the Brick City Round Robin. An invite to this tournament means that our institution is recognized as one of the top 20 competitively successful debate programs in the nation.

Weber State Graduate wins Emmy

Congratulations to Morgan Breismaster Saxton, a reporter at KUTV2 News in Salt Lake City, who won an Emmy in the coveted team coverage category for her reporting on the Brian Head fire. Saxton, a graduate in broadcast journalism, joined the 2News team in January 2017. 


Speech Showcase

Our Fall 2018 Speech Showcase was held on December 6th where our top five finalists presented their award winning speeches, and the Freedom Through Rhetoric Award was presented to our own Professor Mark Merkley (ret.). A list of finalists and more information can be found here.

Golden Spike Awards

A video produced by Ogden Peak Communications is a finalist for the Public Relations Society of America Golden Spike Award. The video was produced for the Hall Global Entrepreneurship Center for “Outdoor Weber.”
