Registration Overrides

Overrides are used to allow students access to register for classes when they encounter a registration restriction.

INSTRUCTOR ISSUED OVERRIDES

The primary instructor listed on a course can issue a student override.  If you do not issue overrides, please reach out to your Department Administrative Specialist or whomever has been designated to enter overrides for your department.

CAUTION

DO NOT OVERRIDE THE WAITLIST

_________________

DO NOT USE THE "CAPACITY OVERRIDE" UNTIL THE 2ND WEEK OF CLASSES

Never override the waitlist.  Students can be added to classes ONLY after online registration and waitlisting has ended.

Open registration & waitlisting ends after the 5th business day of when classes start.
Use the appropriate override for the registration restriction message that the student is receiving.

ADDING STUDENTS AFTER

REGISTRATION ADD DEADLINE
