Signpost Best Non-Daily Student Newspaper

The Signpost was named the Best Non-daily Student Newspaper in the 2016 Mark of Excellence Awards sponsored by the Society of Professional Journalists, beating out schools such as Brigham Young University. 

Debate Keeps Conference Streak Alive

Weber State Debate won the conference title at the Cross-Examination Debate Association's national tournament for the sixth year in a row. Misty Tippets, the Outstanding Student in Civic Advocacy,  led the squad.

Morse named Utah PR Student of the Year

Nina Morse was named the 2017 Utah PR Student of the Year in the competition sponsored by the Utah Public Relations Society Association. Morse becomes the seventh consecutive Weber State student to bring home this honor.

2017 Speech Showcase Finalists Announced

Congratulations to the Top 5 finalists for Spring 2017. They are Samantha Bunderson, Megan Christensen, Taylor Dawson, Geoff Hasty and Mykell Rivera. They spoke to a standing-room-only audience in Elizabeth Hall on April 20.
