With associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in all programs, COAST offers a lot of options: You can earn an associate’s degree in two years, find a job in your field, then complete your bachelor’s degree to improve your career prospects.

Most COAST majors do not have an application process. However, early advisement is important to make sure you’re taking the courses you need to fill general education requirements.

Due to the number of students and limited advisors during the summer, I am unable to return every phone call and/or meet with every student individually. Other options for students are:
- Look online for the information you are seeking.
- Contact your department directly with your questions.
- Email your advisor.
- Attend a student orientation or group advising session (see below).

General Technology Associates of Applied Science!
The following is information for students with an approved certificate from the DATC or OWATC and who are interested in this degree.
General Technology AAS Group Advising Every Tuesday at 4pm, Engineering Technology Bldg. Front Lobby
1-) Attend a group advising session (you will receive a program application & contract).
2-) Complete your application & contract (list all courses).
3-) Schedule/attend an individual appointment (geriharames@weber.edu).
4-) You will then be declared as a General Technology major, and a contract signed.
5-) Register for and attend your classes listed on your contract.
6-) Contact the advisor each semester to have your semester schedule reviewed.
7-) When all requirements are near completion contact the advisor for graduation sign off.
