Storytelling Festival Fundraising Dinner

Tuesday, February 27, 2018
6:30 p.m.

Timbermine Restaurant
1701 Park Blvd.  Ogden, Utah

Over the past 21 years, the Weber State University Storytelling Festival has become on the the premier cultural events in Northern Utah. The festival has garnered national and state awards and an international reputation for nurturing the art of storytelling. We are best known for our efforts in bringing large numbers of youth storytellers to the stage. This could not have happened without the stellar support of the University, local school districts, foundations, businesses and individual sponsors.

The Weber State University Storytelling Festival invites you to become a sponsor for the 21st Annual Festival. Plans have been made for festival events that will appeal to every age group. Nationally acclaimed storytellers Antonio Sacre, Kim Weitkamp, Bil Lepp, Sam Payne, and Lori & Omar Hansen, along with associate storytellers Clive Romney, Karl Behling and Steffani Raff, will capture your heart and create an unforgettable experience in literacy, culture and the arts! Again this year, with the support of festival sponsors, all events will be free except for the Tuesday night fundraising dinner. By not charging to the storytelling events, we are able to encourage wider participation from schools, families and individuals in the community.

The Festival Banquet will be held in the Copper Queen Room of the Timbermine Restaurant & Steak House. This is a special opportunity for sponsors to meet the storytellers and enjoy awonderful evening of storytelling  entertainment. Below are the dinner prices. If you are interested in joining us, please contact, Jackie Shafer, Storytelling Executive Assistant by email jackieshafer@weber.edu or by phone 801-626-7515 by February 1, 2018.

If you choose to sponsor in a specific category, please indicate that on the memo line of your check. Donations may be tax deductible subject to IRS check.
