  Adobe Acrobat Sign is an enhancement to Adobe Acrobat which allows a user to send PDFs via email address to obtain signatures from an individual or group of people in an appropriate order. 

• Is Adobe Acrobat Sign part of the Creative Cloud? 

  No. Adobe Acrobat Sign is part of the Document Cloud along with Adobe Acrobat. Adobe Acrobat Sign is a separate license from the Creative Cloud license. Faculty and staff can fill out the license request form.

• Does my Creative Cloud license cover Adobe Acrobat Sign? 

  No. Adobe Acrobat Sign is a separate license used to enhance Adobe Acrobat. You need to obtain the license separately. Faculty and staff can obtain a license for Acrobat Sign by filling out the license request form.

• How do I obtain my license?

  Faculty and staff can obtain a license by filling out the license request form. The request will be reviewed for eligibility. A confirmation will be sent via email generally within 24 hours. 

• How do I know if I am eligible to receive an Adobe Acrobat Sign license?

  After filling out the form, the request will be evaluated for eligibility. Faculty and staff whose use cases align with the uses outlined in the form are most likely to be approved. 

• How long will I have my license?

  If you are actively using your license, the license will be available to you for as long as we have a current contract. The number of signatures an employee can use will vary as needs arise.

• Is training available for Adobe Acrobat Sign?

  For Acrobat Sign training please contact IT Learning and Engagement at ittraining@weber.edu.

• How do I track signatures?

  Once you've created a document to send out for signatures, you have control over the signer order and can track in the online portal who is next to sign.

• Where do I store my Adobe Acrobat Sign documents?

  Departments are responsible for storing and tracking official Adobe Acrobat Sign documents. The only approved location for official university digital files is Box.
