Student Research Conference

Since the early 1970s, the Department of Sociology and Anthropology has held its student research conference at the end of each academic year for students (especially seniors) to present their research projects to other students and faculty in the department and across campus.

It is the oldest annual student research conference held at Weber State University. Students at the conference share their research methods and results with others and hone their skills in making scholarly presentations, providing them with valuable experience for their future careers and graduate studies.

The next research conference will be held in April, 2018.

For information on participating in the research conference, contact Belinda McElheny at socanthro@weber.edu.
