Advising & Registration Experience

The Advising & Registration Experience is designed to further connect you with campus resources and your support team here at Weber State University. You will have an opportunity to: 

• ‌  Get connected with resources, staff, and other students 
•  ‌ Tour the campus 
• ‌  Meet student leaders 
• ‌  Meet your academic advisor who can answer all of your questions 
• ‌  Explore clubs and activities 
• ‌  Get your Wildcard and visit other departments

Options For Your Advising & Registration Experience Requirement

There are three ways to meet the requirement.

• Advising & Registration Day: In-Person (All Day Event)

  We strongly encourage you to attend the in-person event. 

  The Advising & Registration Day is an all day, fun, free and informative event that allows you to get acquainted with the Weber State campus and resources that are available to you as a student. 

  You can also bring your parents or supporters to attend the Wildcat Supporter Orientation while you are at your Advising & Registration Day.

  Utah is known for it's amazing outdoor experiences. We want to connect you to the beautiful outdoors and give you an opportunity to meet new friends before school starts. So, we have teamed up with the WSU Outdoor Program to give you a legendary welcome to campus!

  Join us for an optional second day of Weber Welcome!

  • July 16
  • 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • $50 Fee

  
  This event includes lunch and a variety of beginner-level activities (both inside and outside) that you can pick from. You will receive more info in an email if you sign up for the July 15 and 16 event.

  If you cannot make Advising & Registration Day, you may meet with your academic advisor within your college or with an exploratory advisor if you have not yet chosen a major.

  Each academic college at Weber State has its own advising appointment rules. Double-check with your specific college before you schedule.

  SUMMER AVAILABILITY NOTICE:

  Academic Advisors and the Orientation Team will be observing Refresh Weeks this summer, providing intentional time for our teams to step away, recharge, and focus on their well-being. This dedicated time ensures our team members can recharge and return ready to provide the highest quality service, allowing them to best support and serve our Wildcat community.

  Please be aware that appointments may be unavailable or extremely limited during the following weeks:

  • Week of May 25-29

  • Week of June 29-July 3

  • Week of July 20-July 24
