Prepare for Weber Welcome

Submit your official transcripts at least two weeks before the Weber Welcome event you plan to attend.

If you've completed any college work from any other school (including concurrent enrollment), submit a copy of your official transcripts to our Admissions Office. Also, to receive credit for AP classes, bring your AP test scores and $10 to the Admissions office

Need to figure out Financial Aid? Or talk to Admissions or Registrar’s?

Since you will already be on campus, consider bringing everything you need to speak with the different departments. This could be transcripts, financial records, legal documents, etc. Call in advance to confirm they are available to assist you!

University Maps

Look over our University map containing all of our campuses for specific locations. Also, here is a virtual campus tour to help you navigate and find the proper buildings where you will attend courses. You will receive a group tour during the Weber Welcome.

Safe@Weber Training

Complete the online Safe@Weber training! WSU takes the safety and well-being of all individuals on its campuses seriously. Safe@Weber provides access to resources to help you deal with a variety of safety and emergency issues. Please use these resources and reach out if you or someone you know needs help. Support includes Weber State Police, Title IX, victim/survivor advocacy services, healthy relationships education, and more. We expect all students to complete the online training.

Laptop

While we will have computer labs available for students at the in-person Weber Welcome, there will not be enough computers for all students so we highly recommend that you bring your own laptop to Weber Welcome.

Accommodation Needs

Weber State University, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, ensures equal access to all university functions, activities, and programs for individuals with disabilities. If you need any accommodations for a disability that hinders the completion of the New Student Orientation, please reach out to orientation@weber.edu for further assistance.

Wildcard

While you are on campus for Weber Welcome you can drop by the Info Desk in the Shepherd Union to get a photo taken for your card (or you can upload your own photo when setting up your Wildcard on your phone.) You will be able to put your Wildcard on your phone after you have registered for classes. If you are not able to put the Wildcard on your phone, a physical card can be issued from the Info Desk. Bring a government-issued ID and your W#.
