Communication Teaching Highlights
This program has two emphases, communication studies and multimedia journalism, where you will learn a variety of teaching techniques. Minors are also a great option to choose in support of other communication degrees.
- Communication Studies: Choose this emphasis if you plan to teach or coach human communication courses in high schools such as speech, debate, interpersonal and small group communication.
- Multimedia Journalism: This emphasis prepares you to teach journalism and advise high school newspaper and yearbook staffs.
