Charitable Chair

Charitable Chair  is a project in sustainability --- one that incorporates accreditation standards, design curriculum and public service.

As part of course final projects, students from select interior design courses participate by seeking out historically significant chairs and then enlisting the help of  design professionals to restore the chair. Chairs are auctioned at a public event --- Charitable Chair. Proceeds from the auction will be shared between a selected community partner and the WSU Interior Design Program.
