Minor in Health Promotion Teaching/Non-Teaching

Make health promotion part of your career, whether it’s in an office or a classroom.

Minor Options

Non-Teaching Track

Our health promotion minor offers you the skills to promote healthy lifestyles in any work environment.

Teaching Track

Teaching track minors gain skills for teaching K-12 students. A teaching major is required for teacher certification. Explore WSU’s teaching majors by visiting the College of Education website.

Degree Information

Grade Requirements

A grade of “C” or better in all minor coursework, in addition to a minimum GPA of 2.50 in minor coursework.

Credit Hours Requirements

Health promotion courses may be completed through distance learning, which consists of online or independent study courses, although not every course is offered through a distance learning format every semester.
