Health Professions New Student Checklist
Are you a new Weber State student wondering what to do before getting into your desired health professions program? Follow the College of Health Professions Admissions Advisement’s steps on this page to start your Weber State health professions journey.

Step 1: Admissions
- If you graduated in 2025 or later from a school in the Ogden, Weber Davis, or Morgan school districts: Complete the Confirmation of Interest Form.
- Weber State Concurrent Enrollment (outside those districts): Submit the Status Switch application in the eWeber portal.
- All other students: Apply for admission to Weber State University.

Step 2: Send Transcripts and Test Credit
- Request official transcripts from any college/university you’ve attended.
- AP/CLEP/other exams: Send official scores to WSU and submit the Test Credit Application (Google Forms).

Step 3: Orientation and Advising
- Complete Online Orientation (about 90 minutes in eWeber).
- Complete an Advising & Registration Experience (choose one):

Step 4: Plan for Your Program
- Health Professions programs require a separate application.
- Review prerequisites, watch advising videos, and complete the applicant checklist on your academic program’s page.

Step 5: Register for Classes
- Register in eWeber using the Register for Classes Add/Drop app or Registration Schedule Builder.

Step 6: Pay for School
- Explore financial aid, scholarships, and payment options.
- Financial resources include grants, loans, work-study, and tuition assistance.

Step 7: Use Campus Resources
- Free support includes tutoring, advising, counseling, disability services, and basic needs resources.
- Get involved in clubs, organizations, and campus events to stay connected.
