This program is offered in a hybrid-online format and at five campus-based locations: Weber State University’s Ogden and Davis campuses, Bridgerland Technical College (BTech), Davis Technical College (DTech) and Ogden-Weber Technical College (OTech).

The program only fills available positions and there is no guarantee that positions will be available each semester. Each program runs for two consecutive semesters. Availability varies year to year and campus by campus.

The Department of Respiratory Therapy offers undergraduate degree programs in three different locations, each with their own application deadlines.

Ogden cohort deadline

• Deadline is Feb. 1 annually with admission for the following fall semester

Davis cohort deadline

• Deadline is July 1 every other even year with admission for the following spring semester

Farmington cohort deadline: 

• July 1, 2025 for Jan. 2026 admission

The program has three emphases: executive leadership (EL), family nurse practitioner (FNP) and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP). 

The executive leadership and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner programs admit one time per year, while the family nurse practitioner program admits twice per year.

Executive Leadership (EL):

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP):

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP):

The program admits one time per year, in the fall semester. 

Priority deadline: Dec. 15 

Applications received after the deadline will be considered on a rolling admissions basis if space is available up until March 1.

To be eligible for the program’s academic scholarship, applications must be submitted by Jan. 15.

The MHA program admits one time per year, each fall semester. The eMHA program admits two times per year, each fall and spring semester.

MHA (campus):

eMHA (online):

The program admits one time per year, each summer semester. The program has two emphases: Nurse Educator, and Leadership and Management, which share the same deadline.

Cardiac Specialist emphasis:

Innovation and Improvement emphasis: 

• Summer priority deadline: March 1
• Fall priority deadline: May 1

Radiologist Assistant (RA) emphasis: 

• Fall priority deadline: May 1
  • Applications may continue to be accepted beyond the priority deadlines as space is available for the RA emphasis only.

Advanced Pediatric Imaging Post-Master’s Certificate:
