The Journal of Geography rates WSU’s geography program as one of the top undergraduate geography programs in the country. Bachelor's Degrees

Our BS in geography prepares you for graduate studies or a career as a geographer. You can focus your learning with one of our emphases:

  • General Geography and Teaching
  • Earth Systems and Features
  • Climate Science
  • Global Studies, Development, and Diversity
  • Environment and Sustainability
  • Sustainable Urban and Regional Planning
  • Geospatial Technology

We also offer a bachelor of science in geography teaching and a bachelor of arts in geography.

Add knowledge of geography to your degree program with a geography minor.

If you're a teaching major, earn a minor in geography teaching to teach geography or social studies in schools.
