Moving Company
Moving Company is the Dance Program’s community-engagement ensemble, housed in the School of Performing Arts. Participation provides students with hands-on experience in both the creative and practical work of a professional dance company. Members collaborate with community partners to create dance works that engage audiences across Weber State University and northern Utah.
At the heart of Moving Company is the belief that dance is a tool for discovery—where identity, agency, and connection take center stage. The arts invite people to explore who they are and what they value; through these experiences, participants come to understand what matters to them, rather than being told what should matter.
