Speech Showcase

Toward the end of every fall and spring semester, the top speaker from each of the two-dozen sections of Principles of Public Speaking (COMM 1020) is invited to battle it out during the Speech Showcase, sponsored by the Department of Communication.

Five finalists perform their speeches in front of a large crowd for a small cash prize and big bragging rights.
