Child and Family Studies Student Association

The Child and Family Studies Student Association allows you to make friends, network with industry professionals and get more involved in your major.

All WSU students who value issues related to families and children, regardless of their major, are welcome to join CFSSA and take an active role in leadership and events. CFSSA regularly hosts fundraisers, round-table discussions, service projects and special campus events, such as the annual Week of the Young Child. The association often invites guest speakers to campus to present on topics students are interested in.

The organization also focuses on experience and preparation for men majoring in child and family studies majors.

Your membership in CFSSA shows employers you are actively involved in your major and allows you enhance your learning outside the classroom.

Our goals include preparing you to work toward certifying as an early childhood or family life educator, assisting you in continuing your education in graduate programs and educating the campus and community with respect to family life, relations and policies.

CFSSA is an affiliate of the National Council on Family Relations.
