2026-27 UAAC Professional Development Certification

Requirements

• Attend 75% of UAAC Monthly Meetings
• Attend 50% of Advisor Information Series Meetings
• Participate in four additional experiences* during the year from the following categories:
  • Watch a NACADA Webinar
  • Shadow an advisor in your area
  • Shadow an advisor in an area other than yours
  • Attend an advising-related professional development conference (e.g., NACADA, UAA, ISU Advising Symposium)
  • Participate in another relevant training/professional development experience (minimum 1 hour)

*You can repeat the category of experience a max of twice (e.g., you can watch two NACADA Webinars to count as two of your additional experiences.

Submit the participation and reflection form to receive credit after completing each requirement (including individual UAAC and Advisor Information Series meetings). Those who earn the certificate will be recognized at our advisor breakfast at the end of the academic year!
