Over $12,000 in travel grants supported student airfare, lodging, and registration costs.

During the summer of 2026, OUR funded a summer research program that provided financial support for 19 students and 11 faculty members totaling over $67,000.

A total of 130 students disseminated their research at the Fall 2025 Research & Engagement Symposium, and 222 students disseminated research, scholarly, and creative activities at the Spring 2026 Symposium.

Over $68,000 in grants supported 38 student-led research and creative projects during the academic year.

On average each year, about 25 students receive a $1000 scholarship (a 4-year competitive scholarship program).

Ergo, the student-led undergraduate research journal, has now published 19 volumes, including its newly released e-journal edition.

From Chicago, Illinois to San Francisco, California, and all the way to Erfurt, Germany, students have traveled across the world to disseminate their research and creative activities.
