Open Enrollment

2024-2025

Begins April 8 | Ends May 17
  • Open enrollment is a window of time every spring when, at Weber State, you can make adjustments to your medical and dental insurance, and voluntary benefits.
  • All benefits changes will become active as of July 1, 2024.
  • Online open enrollment for medical, dental, vision, and flex spending will be done through your eWeber Portal using the Employee Enrollment app. You must have an eWeber login and password.
  • If you do not complete open enrollment online:
    • Your medical, dental and vision plans will remain the same as what you currently have.
    • Your flexible spending account will turn off.
  • You will not be allowed to complete open enrollment after May 17.

If you are interested in the MetLife Legal Program you must contact them directly at 800-821-6400 to enroll or cancel your membership. This can only be done at open enrollment. If you do not cancel this program during open enrollment, it will roll over year to year.

HOW TO ENROLL

Open Enrollment will be done through the eWeber portal. You may enroll or change your enrollment at any time during the open enrollment period. There are no paper enrollment forms. If for some reason you cannot enroll using the online enrollment system, please contact the Human Resources office at 801-626-6032.

Do not access the open enrollment app if you are not making changes. Once you start, you must complete the entire process even if you decide you don't want to make any changes. To see what benefits you currently have, visit the Employee Dashboard app in the eWeber portal.

Things You Will Need Before You Begin:

  • WSU eWeber username and password. If you need help you can access it in your eWeber portal, or call the help desk at 801-626-7777.

  • Spouse and/or dependents' Social Security Numbers and dates of birth. Social Security Numbers must be entered for each dependent.

  • Other insurance policy information. This includes company name, company phone number, policyholder's name, policyholder's date of birth, policy number and policy start date.

  • Life event information. If you have experienced a life event such as marriage, divorce, or the birth of a child, you must go to the HR office to process any changes to your insurance coverage.
