Medical Insurance
Weber State University has a contract with Public Employees Health Program (PEHP) to provide for hospital, surgical, outpatient medical care, and major medical expenses according to the current payment schedule for the plan. Participating doctors, hospitals and other health providers are identified for the best payment schedule. Some of the features of the medical coverage are:
- The choice between traditional low deductible plan or high deductible health care plan (HDHP), with a Health Savings Account
- Flexible Spending Account or Limited Flexible Spending Account when there is an HDHP
- The choice between the two largest networks in the state
- Out-of-state networks
