Student Mindful Mondays Group

Curious about mindfulness and ways to better manage stress? This group is for you! Connect with peers and learn practical tools to help manage stress and symptoms of anxiety and depression. Participants will learn mindfulness techniques, stress management and relaxation skills throughout this group. Students can use these tools to calm their body’s natural stress response, experience a greater ability to focus and perform academically and feel more present in their day-to-day activities.

  • Enhance immunity and overall health
  • Prevent stress from accumulating

Individuals may come weekly and/or occasionally as their time permits; however, the greater benefit generally occurs with regular practice and weekly participation.

This group is not a counseling or therapy group. It is a place to learn some relaxation skills. If you are interested in receiving individual or group therapy to address personal concerns, speak with the facilitator from the WSU Counseling and Psychological Services Center to find out how to initiate these services.
