The mission of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness is to promote and facilitate assessment and improvement of student learning.
We accomplish this mission by supporting a number of assessment initiatives within the Division of Academic Affairs including:
Program Review - a cyclical assessment and reporting standard that culminates in five year reports to the Utah State Board of Regents and the Weber State Board of Trustees.
Annual Assessment Reporting - a yearly process that seeks evidence of learning from each program and/or department area at Weber State University.
General Education Assessment - a partnership with the Weber State General Education Committee to plan and collect evidence of learning within the general education curriculum.
Support and training - a combination of training, consultation, scheduling, and oversight in support of the institution's assessment efforts. Also includes integration and collaboration with other campus assessment units.
