Weber Cares

Food Pantry Hours:

Monday - Friday 12:30-3:30 p.m.
Shepherd Union, Room 402

How to Get Food

The Weber Cares program is comprised of two options for students who are experiencing food insecurity:

1. Food Pantry

The food pantry is available for students to fill bags with needed food. It is open Monday through Friday, 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. in Union Room 402. A member of the CCEL team (SU 327) would be happy to assist you if the open hours of the pantry are inconvenient.

2. Voucher Program

The voucher program is designed to give students a more immediate assistance option. It was set up to be an emergency food option for students and not a sustainable food source. Students in need may receive a same-day-use $10 food voucher for food to be used at any of the Sodexo food venues on-campus. For students to obtain additional food vouches (up to one per month), they need to complete particular tasks. Our goal for the tasks is to notify students that one meal per month is not their only resource to financial assistance.

How to Help

The purposes of these programs are to increase healthy eating options, decrease food insecurity, and increase students' ability to stay in school and finish their degree. You can help by hosting a food drive or staffing the pantry.

If you are interested in donating non-perishable food items to the Weber Cares Pantry or interested in giving a monetary donation to the Weber Cares Voucher Program, please contact the CCEL at 801-626-7737 or at
