What is my W#?
A W# is a randomly generated number assigned to students by Weber State to limit the use of social security numbers.

What is my Wildcat ID and how do I set up my student portal?
Your Wildcat ID is your user name for the weber.edu, which is the address for your student portal. To set up your student portal go to weber.edu. In the left-hand column, click the help link to bring up the menu and select Get your Wildcat user name. If you need further assistance, contact Computing Support at 801-626-7777.

How do I register for my classes for the upcoming semester?
Please see "Registration Tips" on the Registration site.

When am I eligible to register for classes for the upcoming semester?
Go to your Student Services tab located in your student portal. Click on "Registration Time/Check Registration Status" link located in the Registration box on the right-hand side of the screen.

How do I print off a copy of my schedule for the upcoming semester?
Go to your Student Services tab located in your student portal. Click on the "View Schedule by Day and Time" link and enter a date within the semester for which you are seeking your schedule.

How do I totally withdraw from a semester?
Students can withdraw from individual classes online according to the deadlines on the Academic Calendar.

You may withdraw entirely from the semester up until the last allowable day listed in the Academic Calendar. You may withdraw in person at the WSU Registrar's Solution Center windows or by sending an email request to registration@weber.edu from your @mail.weber.edu, or send a signed written request via fax (801) 626-6679 or mail (1102 University Circle, Ogden, UT, 84408). Always include your name, W#, and state your request clearly.

If you are receiving federal financial aid and want to withdraw from a class or from the entire semester, you must contact the Financial Aid Office to speak to a financial aid counselor. Any withdrawal may affect your eligibility for future financial aid.

If I don’t pay for my classes will they be dropped?
No.

How do I drop individual classes?
You may drop individual classes until the last allowable day listed in the Academic Calendar. You may drop a class in person at the WSU Registrar's Solution Center windows or by sending an email request to registration@weber.edu from your @mail.weber.edu, or send a signed written request via fax (801) 626-6679 or mail (1102 University Circle, Ogden, UT, 84408).

Always include your name, W#, and state your request clearly. Include the CRN for the class to be dropped.

How do I change my mailing address?
Go to the Student Services tab in your student portal. Click on your address located in the Personal Profile section, then scroll to "Change Contact Information."

How do I change my name?
Make sure you obtain your social security card showing the name that you would like our records to show. You can then visit us in person at the Registrar’s Solution Center in the Student Center. Or fax your request with a copy of the correct social security card to 801-626-6679.
