About Unity Conference

Unity Conference Mission

The Unity Conference represents an effort to maintain a commitment to Weber State University values. We are committed to student success. We are committed to appreciating differences across cultures, across individuals, and across disciplines. We are committed to growing and learning with each other. When we understand each other’s unique experiences, we can create an environment in which we feel connected to the campus and wider community, we feel compassion for our fellow community members, and we can collaborate to create a more harmonious campus culture. With these goals in mind, we seek to increase student success and readiness for the world beyond Weber State University.

The Unity Conference seeks to strengthen our community, foster compassion, and celebrate the unique experiences and histories that make our community vibrant.

  • Inspire individuals to translate understanding into meaningful support, advocacy, and allyship
  • Create a space where difficult discussions can be approached with patience, respect, and a commitment to growth

Celebration

  • Foster an environment where people feel seen, valued, and celebrated for their unique identities and lived experiences
