GEAR UP Live Kickoff Event

Hosted by: Weber State University's TOA (The Ohana Association)

Who: All Students and Parents (Grades 7 - 12)

What: There will be fun activities to engage with current Pacific Islander college student leaders as well as opportunities to engage in conversations around common issues and struggles in accessing higher education programs and how best to approach and address those issues.  We are grateful to have our very own WSU Professor Kristina Moleni, MSW, Ph.D. (ABD) from the Department of Social Work and Gerontology present "Pacific Islander:  Wayfinding in Higher Education".  

There will also be opportunities to connect with various Pacific Islander advisers from colleges/universities across Utah, and prize drawings throughout the evening (which will be mailed to you at the registered address provided in your registration form if your name is pulled).

When: Thursday, October 29, 2020

Time: 7 - 8:30 p.m.

Where: Online via Zoom. Connection information will be sent to those who register via email.
