When you come to the Dee Event Center, we will have you check in at the Student Registration Table. We will give you your name tags and your participation certificate there. You will also receive a Project Tag, with your project number. Please attach this Project Tag to your project board, as judges will use this to find your projects for judging. Please note that if you don't complete your registration, the system will not know to assign you these items! Make sure you complete your registration in zFairs!
We will have the event center organized into sections, based on project category (Botany, Chemistry, etc.). Please find your project category section. There will be papers on the table that have project numbers on them. Please find the paper that corresponds with the Project Tag you received at the Registration Desk.
After project setup, we ask that all parents and teachers leave the judging area. Nobody but students and judges are allowed in the judging area once judging starts. Judging will start promptly at 9:30/1:30. Don't be late!
We will have campus tours set up for parents and teachers, who can join during judging time. We will also have events set up around campus that you can utilize while your student is participating in the fair.
When judging is complete, please clean up your project area so we can prepare for the next fair.
When both fairs are complete, you may go. Judges will discuss projects, and once winners are selected, the student will be contacted. Please ensure that the information you put into zFairs is accurate! We will use the information in zFairs to contact you.
