Industry Experience

Dr. Tom Booth has 20 years of simulation, modeling, and data analysis experience in the USAF and at NASA.  He has Bachelors and Masters degrees in mechanical engineering with an emphasis in Computational Fluid Dynamics and Numerical Analysis techniques.  The underlying theme to his career has been verification of simulations and models with real world measured data.

Dr. Tom Booth received his Ph.D. in Systems Engineering in 2025.  His research focuses on ‘A DevOps and Empirically-based Unified-Modeling, Design, Analysis, and Optimization Methodology for Software-centric Data Systems’.  He started his own company, Nexus Digital Engineering, shortly after completing his PhD in 2025 and secured 2 sub-contracts within 4 months.
