Industry and Research Experience
Dr. Anamika A. Siddique is an adjunct faculty member in the Master of Science in Systems Engineering program at Weber State University. She also currently serves as part-time faculty at Columbia Southern University, where she teaches online courses and develops course materials, learning activities, assessments, and instructional resources.
Her teaching and research focus on systems engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering, digital engineering, small satellite systems, engineering modeling and simulation, and aerospace applications. Her doctoral research examined the integration of digital engineering, metadata management, and modular architecture in small satellite development.
Using the SleeperSat-1 4U CubeSat as a case study, Dr. Siddique applied SysML, MATLAB, STK, Siemens NX, Teamcenter, Ansys, and Star-CCM+ to support system modeling, simulation, structural and thermal analysis, verification, and lifecycle traceability. She previously served as a Doctoral Research Associate and engineering mentor at The University of Texas at El Paso Aerospace Center and participated in NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s Team-X mission design program.
Publications and Professional Activities
Dr. Siddique has published research in digital engineering, small satellite systems, structural analysis, metadata integration, modular system design, and AI-enabled systems engineering. She also contributes to engineering education, student mentoring, STEM outreach, and professional conferences. Her full publication list is available through Google Scholar.
