Brain Awards

The Neuroscience Brain Awards are bestowed upon students at Weber State who show promise in the field of neuroscience. Three awards are handed out each academic year, with two recipients of the Developing Brain Award and one Big Brain Award. Award winners receive $500 each.

Complete the Brain Award Application Form.

Applications will be reviewed by department faculty using the criteria listed below.

Requirements and Eligibility

Developing Brain Awards

Must have completed 30-85 credits in total.
Declared neuroscience minor at Weber State.
Completed Introduction to Neuroscience (NEUR 2050/2950) with a grade of B or higher.

Big Brain Award

Must have completed 85 credits in total.
Declared neuroscience minor at Weber State.
Completed Introduction to Neuroscience (NEUR 2050/2950) with a grade of B or higher.
Must have completed at least 10 credit hours toward neuroscience minor.
