Description:

NCAST has partnered with the New York Vehicle Inspection Program (NYVIP2) providing On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) system technical support services to vehicle inspection technicians in New York State.

NCAST uses its resources including industry service information and its relationship with OEM partners to supply advice to New York technicians investigating hard-to-solve OBD inspection issues. 

While supporting the New York inspection program with technical expertise, NCAST staff and students have the opportunity to research real-world issues encountered in the vehicle inspection field.
