Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS)

Weber State University’s Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) prepares students with the advanced knowledge and technical skills needed to advance their careers in computer science and technology. The program is designed for students with a bachelor’s degree who want to deepen their expertise and pursue advanced opportunities in the field.

Online and in-person MSCS pathways are available. Students can begin the program in the fall or spring semester.


MSCS Application Deadlines: 

Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) application deadlines vary by starting semester. We recommend applying by the priority deadline to receive the earliest access to the MSCS course registration.

Applicants who meet the registration deadline receive first access to register for MSCS courses. We welcome applications through the final deadline and will review them for admission and course registration after the deadline, as space remains available.

 

 

Application

The application for admission to the master's degree in computer science program must be submitted online. Official transcripts from each institution of higher education attended and all test scores must be sent directly to the MSCS Admissions Office

Unfortunately, we are unable to waive these fees or requirements.

Course Catalog Requirements

Once enrolled, a student must register for at least one MSCS program course each semester, except summer, until graduation. Students who fail to do so must petition for readmission into the program.

Catalog
