Medical Laboratory Technician Associate of
Applied Science - Campus
The Weber State Medical Laboratory Sciences programs follow a stacked-credentials module. The four-year curriculum is structured in two stages: the Associate of Applied Science program, which leads to the Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) credential, and the Bachelor of Science program, which builds on that foundation and awards the Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) credential.
Admission to the Campus MLT program is highly competitive, with up to 32 students accepted each fall semester.
After successful completing of the AAS MLT program, students are eligible to sit for the MLT ASCP exam via route 1 and continue with the Bachelor of Science MLS program.
