2025-26 Student Handbook (PDF) lists policies and procedures for students in the Graduate Studies in Education Program.

Chair Verification Form (PDF) is typically used in GSE 6910 Project Development I class to verify the chair of the Master's Project Committee.

Course Revalidation Form (PDF) is used for students' coursework over six years old. At the time of completion of the graduate program, no course may be older than six years. This time limit also applies to transfer credits.

Incomplete Agreement Form (PDF) is filled out by students who have completed a substantial portion (approximately 80%) of the required coursework (e.g., the Master's project in GSE 6970), but could not finish all requirements within the semester they are enrolled in the class due to a legitimate reason. Once the course instructor or committee chair has signed the Incomplete Agreement Form to approve a new due date, the student will have an extended period to finish course assignments before a grade change request can be submitted. The student must complete remaining work without re-registering or attending the class during a subsequent semester. Credit hours are not counted until a letter grade is posted.

If the student receives an incomplete grade in GSE 6970 but fails to complete the project by the due date stated in the Incomplete Agreement, the student will be asked to register for a 1-credit GSE 6990 Continuing Graduate Advisement every semester until the project requirements are all met.

Individual Study Contract (WORD) is filled out at time of registration by students who plan to work on a guided individual project in GSE 6900 Individual Study class to receive approval from the faculty advisor or the GSE Director.

Project Committee Form (PDF) is typically used in GSE 6930 Project Development III class to determine members of the Master's Project Committee.

Project Rubric (PDF) is used to grade the Master's Project by the Project Committee.

Proposal Cover Template (WORD) is used as the cover page of the Master's project/thesis proposal. Students send the completed cover page to the GSE Office to collect signatures of approval from the committee.

Thesis Cover Template (WORD) is used as the cover page of the final Master's project/thesis. Students send the completed cover page to the GSE Office to collect signatures of approval from the committee.
