As Salt Lake County’s Sustainability Director, Emily Paskett leads efforts to integrate sustainability and resilience across County operations, planning, and development. Based within the Office of Regional Development, she coordinates cross-agency initiatives that promote environmental, social, and economic responsibility. Her work centers on collaboration to drive innovative and impactful sustainability outcomes.

Before joining Salt Lake County, Emily worked for the Utah Clean Air Partnership (UCAIR) and Utah Clean Cities, focusing on air quality education, electric vehicle programs, and grant development. She holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Urban Ecology, both from the University of Utah.

When not at work, Emily can be found hiking local trails, getting lost in books, or sharing meals with family and friends. She's constantly inspired by everyday connections between people and the environment.
