Baja is the originator of the Resilience Hub concept and has been working on Resilience Hubs for 14 years throughout North America and Internationally. She is the Director of the Resilience Hub Collaborative, which is a space for community-based leaders to gather and share ideas and resources for developing Resilience Hubs worldwide.

Baja is a biomimetic, resilience and adaptation professional, regenerative systems specialist, healing centered coach, certified breath-worker, and Certified Floodplain Manager. She holds a Masters of Urban Planning and a Masters of Science from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Biomimicry from ASU. In 2016, she was recognized by the Obama Administration as a Champion of Change for her work on climate and equity.

Baja (she/ki) is an energy rooted in empathy, love, compassion, and connection. She is a coach, innovator, connector, generator, and facilitator focused on liberation, belonging, and collective care. By vocation, Baja is the co-Executive Director of Embodied Ecosystem (e2) and supports an ecosystem of care centered in a 'whole human- whole species- whole system' theory of change.
