Four certificates stack to our Supply Chain Management undergraduate minor.

The Jerry & Vickie Moyes Center for Supply Chain Excellence professional certificates are available to individuals with 5+ years of supply chain management experience (without a bachelor’s degree) who are interested in upskilling for career growth in the SCM field. Current GSBE degree-seeking students are encouraged to appply. This program gives students access to our rigorous upper level SCM curriculum. Certificates earn university credit and may be earned individually or stacked to build a strong foundational SCM knowledge base, backed by the excellent reputation of Weber State’s Supply Chain Management Program. Individuals who have previously earned non-SCM bachelor’s degree and wish to up-skill or re-enter the workforce into the dynamic and growing field of Supply Chain Management (SCM) are also invited to apply.

A QUICK LOOK: 

TIME COMMITMENT: 3 hours in class/week + 3 to 6 hours applied work/week
TIME TO COMPLETION: Scholarship recipients must complete by April 2023
TYPICAL CLASS SIZE: About 25 students

METHOD OF DELIVERY: Face-to-Face (some virtual options may be available).
SCHOLARSHIPS: 35 Learn & Work Scholarships available!

  • WHO CAN APPLY? We welcome individuals who commit to full program and course engagement.
  • DELIVERY: All courses are taught over a full-semester, with evening schedule options.  Some virtual courses may be available, but this delivery method is not guaranteed.  Our experiential learning environment requires active engagement and collaboration with the instructor and colleagues; therefore, most courses are taught in a face-to-face format.
  • PREREQUISITES: 
    • Five (5)+ years of work experience in supply chain, and/or
    • Current GSBE degree-seeking students (all majors), or
    • Individuals with a non-SCM bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited instution who are interested in a career in SCM are invited to apply and will be favorably considered
    • Completion of online leveling courses: algebra, statistics, and/or Excel, if not previously taken
    • Committed to engage with industry professionals via speaking events, facility tours, resume/interview workshops, and/or mentoring opportunities.
  • GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Students must complete all program courses with a grade of “B” or higher. 
  • CREDIT HOURS: 4-7 total credit hours per certificate. The following is a list of the required courses:
