Cultural Centers

Housed within the Centers for Belonging and Cultural Engagement are individual centers created to provide independent and dynamic interactions with the goal of encouraging and celebrating you and your peers.

As of 2023, Weber State University is restructuring how we serve our students with a cultural center model, which will foster belonging, support cultural identity and encourage student leadership. WSU's Centers for Belonging & Cultural Engagement are spaces where students can experience a sense of community and belonging and engage in meaningful educational activities on campus. We strongly encourage students of every race, ethnic, and cultural background to participate in the various services, social activities, and educational opportunities offered in each cultural center throughout the year. All are welcome and we look forward to seeing you there!

Check back regularly as we continue to grow to serve our students even better. Until each center is open, we will continue to support students in the Student Services Center (SC 150). If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to 801-626-7006.

Area Councils

The Centers for Belonging and Culture houses six Area Councils, student-run organizations with constituency seats in the WSU student senate. Each council uses their experiences and unique perspective to identify and address the needs and concerns of students. Student senators attend and participate in student senate meetings as well as act as heads of their respective Area Councils. Contact the senator or president of the Area Council you want to join.
