Black Cultural Center

Our new Black Cultural Center is restructuring how we serve our students. We want to provide opportunities for students to explore the African American/Black identity to encourage an authentic understanding while engaging in journeys of self-discovery. As our cultural center model grows, we will update this page and share the ways we are serving our students, faculty and staff. For questions, contact cynthialynn@weber.edu or 801-626-7006.

WSU's Centers for Belonging & Cultural Engagement are spaces where students can experience a sense of community and belonging and engage in meaningful educational activities on campus. We strongly encourage students of every race, ethnic, and cultural background to participate in the various services, social activities, and educational opportunities offered in each cultural center throughout the year. All are welcome and we look forward to seeing you there!

As of 2023, Weber State University is restructuring how we serve our students with a cultural center model, which will foster belonging, support cultural identity and encourage student leadership. Check back regularly as we continue to grow to serve our students even better. Until each center is open, we will continue to support students in the Student Services Center (SC 150).
