Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
Weber State University’s chapter of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is designed to help students enter the human resources career field by providing leadership, service opportunities, experience and effective networking with current HR professionals in northern Utah.

Students need to join the national SHRM organization to be eligible for the Weber State chapter.
To register, students have to go to SHRM.org, click ‘Membership,’ then click ‘Join Now’ and register with their Weber State email address. The cost is $75 per year, payable on the SHRM website.
This amount will be returned to you in a variety of ways, such as free lunches, training sessions and more. There are also scholarships available from the Northern Utah Human Resource Association that many WSU SHRM members benefit from each year.
