R. Carlos Nakai with the ARTolerance Ensemble: A Celebration of Indigenous Music: We opened the Browning Presents! season with legendary Native American flutist R. Carlos Nakai and the ARTolerance Ensemble. Audiences experienced an evening that celebrated Indigenous musical traditions while showcasing the power of storytelling through sound.

Ruha Benjamin: Acclaimed sociologist and author Ruha Benjamin joined us for a thought-provoking conversation about technology, race, and social justice. Benjamin challenged audiences to imagine a better future and inspired meaningful dialogue about how innovation shapes our communities.

Baratunde Thurston: Author, comedian, and Emmy Award-nominated host Baratunde Thurston brought his signature humor and insight to an engaging conversation about technology and the human experience. Through storytelling, he encouraged audiences to rethink their relationship with one another and the rapidly changing world around them.

Tommy Orange: Storytelling, Identity, and Contemporary Native Life: Award-winning author Tommy Orange visited Weber State for an evening exploring Indigenous identity through the lens of contemporary fiction. Drawing from his acclaimed novel There There and his own experiences, Orange offered audiences a moving and deeply personal conversation.

Tonality: Voices for Change: We concluded the season with Grammy Award-winning choral ensemble Tonality in a performance co-sponsored with Onstage Ogden. Exploring themes of belonging and hope through contemporary choral music, the program demonstrated how music can inspire empathy and bring communities together.
