Latin American Studies Co-Lab

Under the auspices of the Matthew S. Browning Design Lab, The Latin American Studies Co-Lab (LASCOLAB) convenes faculty and students at all stages of their respective trajectories who share an interest in collaborative inquiry related to Latin American and Latinx cultures. Through cross-pollination, vertical integration, and human-centered design, we elevate the experience of shared discovery through the sustained pursuit of high-impact learning experiences. Our interdisciplinary expertise facilitates the dynamic exchange of ideas, promotes research on Latin America and Hispanic cultures of the U.S., and supports WSU’s mission to become an Emerging Hispanic-Serving Institution. Crucially, we produce, present, and publish research, guide students along their respective paths of investigation, and serve as an important node of inquiry within the university.
